Information concerning self build Computer Numerical Controlled milling and drilling machine:
It is made of wood and pieces of drawer rails as guidance.
As a spindle M5 wire end is used.
On the tables there are bits of stole angle line screwed on which M5 nuts are mounted.
The three axes (X, Y, Z) spindle are moved with Tandon 1.8 degree step by step engines.
As a drilling-, milling- and engraving machine a Kinzo multitool is used.
The capacity is 130 Watt at 800 up to 30, 000 rounds per minute.
Control goes utilizing the parallel port of a personal computer or laptop.
We are experimenting with different types of software.
Explanation:
At photograph 2814: first tests. Pen attached with to Z ash a drawing of the space shuttle plotted.
At photograph 2815: second tests.
At photograph 2815: third attempt. Result of the third test a stork with a baby in his mouth has been milled on old print.
